This week I’ve been working my booty off trying to get as much editing done as possible on last weekends wedding because I am leaving tomorrow for a weekend trip! A trip I am sooooo excited for! I am meeting 4 of my favorite mom friends in the Outer Banks & we are going to let loose & have a girls weekend!! Woo hoo!!! It has been years since I left Austin & the kids for an overnight or two. I think it’s been about 3 years so this is very much needed for this momma to re-charge with her ladies!!!

I need to be more calm. I need to be more patient. I need to just throw all the negative thoughts away & just live day to day & be more positive. I need to look at the brighter side of things more often. If you didn’t know one thing about me (April) from following us on this pretty square grid is that I am way anxious & negative than I need to be on a daily basis. I get too deep into my thoughts & just worry about everything big or small. If I didn’t have Austin to keep me in check & to be the best positive influence in my life, then I’d probably be a crazy, lost person. Lol. He can get me to calm down, help me change my mindset & let loose of those “what if’s” thoughts. Yesterday, I was worrying about one little thing too much..got an email that made me so happy & I asked Austin if he prayed about it & he said yea a little & I couldn’t help but to smile. I need to be more like him. Pray about it instead of worrying about it. Because praying can answer my worry way more than my negative thoughts. I know there are others out there just like me. So, I challenge you to pray more & worry less!!🙏🏻
I live for warm, summer days! The beach, the sand, the saltwater, the sun, & a drink in my hand. It’s my favorite kind of days! Today, I am dreaming of it all & those kinds of days will be here so soon!
